Getting to Know Your Higher Power and Yourself
"A Spiritual Awakening" is weekly meeting that explores the Alcoholics Anonymous 12-Steps in the framework of traditional Jewish spiritual concepts. It is meant to complement the 12-step meetings of those already working a recovery program.
The meeting is led by long-time JACS volunteer Heshi Khunriech, a certified addictions counselor who has been performing Jewish outreach and teaching Jewish studies for almost two decades.
